Sole Lamp is a floor lamp made by primarily employing the techniques of wood bending. The form of the lamp reminds me of the cyclic nature of life. The composition of the three long curves, inter-tangling with each other, is a modern representation of genetic material, representing a triple helix. Adding an extra strand emphasizes on the bendable nature of a soul. Birth and Death is similar to the occurrence of day and night, it is a part and parcel of life. 

The curves in the wood is achieved through vacuum bending. Bendable plywood is a distinct kind of plywood that is best suited for bending. The mould was made from MDF wood. Other than this, the stand of lamp incorporates welded steel tubes along with LED strip light to complete the luminaire.
